For anyone wanting to experience the true essence of Alaska, this UTV tour is a must. My husband and I took part in it while in Ketchikan, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. From the outset, the excitement was palpable. Maneuvering the UTVs along the rugged, muddy paths of the Tongass National Forest was a thrilling experience. We weren’t just along for the ride; we actively navigated the challenging terrain, splashing through water and ascending steep, timber-lined hills. Reasons we cherished this adventure: The Scenery: The views were stunning and far beyond what photos can capture. Surrounded by majestic old-growth trees and vibrant rainforest, reaching the overlooks offered breathtaking sights of mountains and the ocean below—that was a moment to remember. The Wildlife: Being in such a remote area brought a profound sense of tranquility (aside from the engine noise). We eagerly searched for whales, and the guides were helpful in highlighting the local flora and fauna. The Guides: They were exceptional—well-informed, prioritizing safety, and they enriched the experience with intriguing stories about life in the Alaskan wilderness. The combination of thrilling action and stunning natural vistas was perfect. Navigating that wild terrain alongside my partner was a unique experience. If you're in Ketchikan, this is a must-do activity—one we’ll cherish for years to come.
Abby and Fin ensured our safety while we enjoyed a fantastic ride. Fin even pointed out a mountain goat and made sure we had a lot of laughs in the back. The reindeer dogs were tasty! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
Today’s tour was a lot of fun, guided by Cole, Chelsea, and Mitch. We enjoyed excellent weather, which enhanced the experience. The Yamaha Wolverine X2 UTVs were enjoyable to drive, perfect for the tour. The lake was stunning, with crystal-clear water, and we even sampled Sitka Spruce nibs.
This experience was fantastic! The guides were clearly passionate about sharing the amazing wildlife with us. Their knowledge was impressive, and we encountered deer, goats, eagles, along with a stunning rainbow. Jasper and Cole are exceptional!
