Our kayak tour with Spencer was fantastic. He was approachable, informative, and ensured we had a great time. We spotted Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, and Sea Lions, making it an unforgettable experience. Spencer fostered a comfortable atmosphere and shared fascinating insights throughout. I highly recommend this tour and suggest requesting Spencer as your guide.
As someone who had never kayaked before, I was uncertain about what to anticipate. Led by Matt, with assistance from Seth and Jenny, the experience turned out to be fantastic. The guides made navigating the kayak quite straightforward, making this tour ideal for beginners. The stunning views of the Alaskan mountains were truly mesmerizing. It was a picture-perfect day, and the guides were excellent!
Our kayaking experience was fantastic - the staff was friendly and well-informed, the equipment was excellent, and the pick-up and drop-off were on time. It was well-organized and enjoyable.
Our kayaking tour with Spencer was truly unforgettable. From the beginning to the end, we had a fantastic experience. Getting up close to bald eagles, seals, and sea lions made it all the more special. Spencer was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and he ensured that the whole experience was enjoyable and relaxed. His passion for his work really shines through, and he genuinely wants everyone to have a good time. This was undoubtedly one of the best parts of our trip, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a unique and memorable adventure.
The paddling experience was fantastic. Rain gear was supplied, and although it wasn’t raining, I opted to wear it to stay dry from the chilly ocean water. The guides were highly knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful experience with our neurodiverse family during this trip. Our autistic teen felt comfortable thanks to the calm and patient approach of the team from the very beginning. Matthew greeted us pleasantly outside the cruise ship, and we enjoyed a smooth ride with high-quality protective gear, including life vests, waterproof jackets, and dry bags. The team's understanding of sensory needs made it easy for my kids to adjust their gear as necessary. Although we had some kayaking experience, the briefing on the plans and safety measures was beneficial. Matthew, Jen, and another guide provided guidance on our technique and shared knowledge about the local environment while being incredibly encouraging. Their patience was truly commendable. Facilities at the dock were well-kept, including clean bathrooms and organized gear. After kayaking, there were snacks available, accommodating for my kids' food allergies which made it easier to find safe options. The return to the ship was efficient. We highly recommend this excursion and would love to join them again if we return to Alaska.
We had an amazing experience on this trip! Our guide, Spencer, was both knowledgeable and friendly, making it feel like a private tour. The equipment was top-notch, the views were stunning, and we encountered various local wildlife, including nesting eagles and harbor seals. Plus, we got to meet some adorable doodles during our journey. Thank you, Devin and Spencer!
This was a 5-star experience without any flaws. The instructors were incredibly friendly and made it fun. I would strongly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Ketchikan. It was one of the best activities we've ever experienced.
The customer service was excellent, and the facilities along with the rain gear were well-maintained. We enjoyed a sunny, stunning day in a beautiful area. We spotted many starfish and even had the chance to hold a large purple one. A harbor seal accompanied us for a while, popping its head up frequently, which was adorable.
The provision of waterproof gear at the start was incredibly useful. Our guide, Devon, demonstrated extensive knowledge of Alaskan marine life while also being environmentally conscious. I highly recommend this tour.
