My wife and I participated in this tour with Captain Mike and Angela as our guides. They were both somewhat amusing, but Angela's jokes went too far when she made a negative remark about Bill Clinton. I would prefer if political comments were avoided during our tour.
The guide shared many charming details about the town and made us feel relaxed. We spotted eagles perched on ship masts and saw sea otters as well. The tour was easygoing and definitely worth the time and money spent.
Our tour of Ketchikan's main business district was delightful, thanks to our guide Abigail's insightful narration. We then ventured into the harbor, where we spotted an eagle, seals basking on the dock, various seabirds, and even a humpback whale. The weather was ideal, reaching the high 60s and sunny.
Captain Jon and Preston were fantastic. My wife and I truly enjoyed our adventure with them. Thank you both for an unforgettable experience.
Our tour with Captain Miguel and Sierra was incredible. They were both very informative and accommodating. To our surprise, our group of seven had the entire duck boat to ourselves, making it a private experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Captain Mike and Preston were excellent. I had a great experience with my friends as they shared the city's highlights, and then we strolled to the locations they mentioned.
Captain Jonathan and narrator Justin provided a fantastic experience. They were knowledgeable, funny, professional, and polite. The enclosed tour kept us dry from occasional rain, and at 90 minutes, there was still time for other activities in Ketchikan. It offered close views of the fishing fleet, along with opportunities to see bald eagles and many sea gulls. We highly recommend this tour.
The tour is enjoyable but would benefit from being slightly longer. It was supposed to last 1.5 hours, yet it actually only lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes.
The experience was quite disappointing. We spent only 20 minutes exploring the town, followed by 20 minutes in the water, and another 15 minutes cleaning the vehicle, with just a 10-minute ride back to the ship. There were a few funny comments, but that was about it.
Abigail, our tour guide, was cheerful and well-informed about Ketchikan, adding humor to the experience. While Ketchikan tends to be quite tourist-oriented, the tour was enjoyable and a budget-friendly option to explore the town without feeling worn out.
