The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to some fantastic locations. He was very engaging, and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
This experience was truly exceptional, and the tour was outstanding. Jordan's knowledge and insightful commentary really enhanced the journey. We connected with nature away from the crowds, encountering only about five others on the trail. If you wish to immerse yourself in Alaska's nature, this tour is perfect for you.
Jordan, our guide, was the kindest person I've ever encountered and incredibly knowledgeable. He shared extensive information about local plants and the area's history, crediting his friends from various native groups as well as his own research. We never felt rushed, and he ensured we had an enjoyable experience from the very beginning. He made extra effort to keep us informed prior to the pickup and was attentive during the tour, actively helping us find sea stars and other creatures we were curious about. His cautious approach made us feel safe as long as we followed his guidance. Overall, this was one of the most remarkable experiences of my life, and I would be thrilled to join him on another tour.
This trip was outstanding, thanks to a friendly, enthusiastic, and well-informed guide. I strongly recommend this experience.
The tour in Ketchikan exceeded our expectations! Jordan was a fantastic guide, providing extensive knowledge about the rainforest, local history, and the Tongass National Forest. The beauty of the rainforest trails leading to the beach was remarkable and everything was well planned. Despite three cruise ships being in port, it never felt crowded, enhancing the relaxing experience. Jordan kept the tour enjoyable, informative, and seamless from beginning to end. We had a wonderful time and would definitely participate in this tour again. Highly recommend!
This rainforest tour exceeded all our expectations. Jordan was not only professional but also incredibly kind. His deep understanding of the rainforest's flora, fauna, and local indigenous tribes made the experience both informative and enjoyable. He patiently addressed all our questions, clearly showing his passion for sharing this beautiful environment. We highly recommend taking this tour and would gladly do it again.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Jordan, who was exceptional. The hike took us through a quiet part of Ketchikan's rainforest, leading to a waterfall and two beach areas before looping back. The trail was manageable and not challenging. Jordan shared extensive knowledge about the local wildlife and plants, making the experience even more enriching. He is among the finest guides we've encountered. On our return, we visited a totem park, and he arranged transportation for us and other guests from the downtown docks and our ship in Ward Cove. We highly recommend this tour for those wanting to explore the best of Ketchikan.
The hike lasts around 2 hours and features a variety of terrain. There were no snacks or water offered. The guide was pleasant, although I would have appreciated some periods of silence.
This was an excellent small group tour. The guide was exceptional, providing a wealth of knowledge and a diverse range of information.
It was a fantastic and somewhat challenging hike through a stunning rainforest near Ketchikan. The communication during the booking process was excellent, and our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and filled with interesting facts. I appreciated the opportunity to support a family-owned business.
