The excursion could have been fantastic, but there were several upsells right when you arrive, including €5 items like wet suits, sunglasses, rafting shoes, and a waterproof phone case. If you need all of them, it's €25. The wet suit they provided was too large, making it ineffective as water got in, so be sure to get the right size for a snug fit. First, there was zip lining, with two lines at 100m and 150m, which was enjoyable. However, be prepared for a steep walk back to the main area. Next was the Selge Canyon Tour, with an open top van ride offering stunning views. Upon arrival, there was an upsell for the world’s longest zip line at €80. Lunch back at the base was quite lackluster: chicken skewers, bulgur wheat, pasta, and salad without any seasoning, plus no drinks included. Be ready to pay for drinks like ice coffee and water. The rafting involved groups of 6-10, with instructors from the rafting supervisor. The water temperature is around 10 degrees, which is shocking at first, but you'll adjust. After about 45 minutes, you have to carry the raft up a hill, so remember your bandanna for the buggy driving that follows. The buggy driving was done in 50cc buggies that were quite slow, and you must drive single file, which was less exciting. My buggy broke down, but the Marshall quickly switched us to another. This part lasted about 30 minutes but would have been better if advanced drivers could go faster and have more fun. Make sure to bring along a towel, swimming gear, bandana, sunglasses, water-resistant phone case, hat, and sun cream. Ultimately, it was a good trip, but the food could improve, and the buggy driving was a bit uneventful since it was single file. The highlights were definitely the zip line and rafting.
The day began on a positive note with a timely pick-up from my hotel. Upon reaching the first location, the organization was impressive. Rafting was enjoyable, and the buggy ride was fun. Lunch was adequate as well. However, the jeep safari left something to be desired; our driver was reckless, which was concerning with young children on board.
We had a fantastic family day out that we can’t recommend enough. With kids aged 7 and 10, the experience was a hit. The modern, comfortable bus was driven by a friendly driver who got us safely to the well-organized base camp. We started with the jeep and buggy ride, where we bought water shoes (€10 each) and enclosed sunglasses (€3 each) that proved to be worthwhile. The buggy ride was enjoyable and messy, while the ziplines were quick yet well-managed. Lunch was simple but satisfying. The rafting was the best part; we didn’t need wetsuits in the summer heat, and the river had exciting white water sections that were still manageable for the kids, making us feel safe the entire time. Communication was clear, and while we purchased some items and drinks, the pricing was reasonable. We brought cash for tips, which were definitely deserved. Overall, it was an outstanding day and a highlight of our vacation.
While communication could have been improved, the day was fantastic, including canyon sightseeing, zip lining, buggy driving, and water rafting. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely recommend it. I look forward to booking again next year.
The activities we experienced were a lot of fun, including buggies, zip lines, and rafting. However, I wouldn't suggest the buggy safari for families with small children or those who are easily nervous, as the driving is very fast and includes donuts on the edge of a cliff. There were also insufficient seats, so my daughter and I had to stand and ended up getting hurt from being jostled around in the jeep. The zip lining lacked proper landing instructions, leading to an incident where the person behind me dislocated his knee upon landing feet first—make sure to keep your feet up! The rafting was enjoyable but a bit rough, and we had to spend £50 for glasses, bandanas, and shoes. Overall, while it was a great trip, I do have concerns about their health and safety practices.
The combination of the four activities was enjoyable, except for the zip line, which lacked excitement. Rafting was suitable for kids over 8 years old. The jeep and buggy tours were pleasant, but the equipment needs updating. Our guide Adil was cheerful and humorous. However, the start of the activities felt rushed and unfriendly. The restrooms were unclean and neglected. The scenery was stunning, and the river had a beautiful turquoise color. The meal was simple yet tasty. I highly recommend it for the good value.
Though it was just the two of us, the company continued with the tour, providing us with a private experience. We enjoyed everything and felt like VIPs. The activity was incredible, and the views were stunning.
We recently participated in the 4-in-1 combo tour, and it was a very enjoyable time, particularly for my son who loved every moment. We paid about €35 per adult, and kids under 6 could join for free, which seemed like a good deal at first. However, once we started the briefing, there was a noticeable push to sell additional items, so I suggest being prepared to avoid extra costs. For instance, they recommend purchasing waterproof shoes for €10, but bringing your own, such as Crocs, is perfectly fine. They also suggest renting wetsuits for €10, although a regular swimsuit suffices. Additionally, they promote buying gloves for €10, which we found unnecessary. The package does include essential safety gear like life jackets and helmets, meaning most of the extra items they recommend are not needed. It's easy to overspend if you're not careful. One more tip: eat something before the tour begins. There’s a stop during the rafting portion where food choices are limited and somewhat expensive, costing around €3 for items like Nutella naan or a cheese naan, plus drinks. Overall, the experience was fantastic and definitely worth trying. Just be cautious of the upsells. Bringing your own Crocs, swimsuit, and a waterproof camera cover will help you save money while enjoying the trip.
Sexy Emo is an incredibly humorous guide, making this tour highly recommended. Although summer might be more enjoyable with warmer temperatures, we had a great time in April. We'd do it repeatedly. Thank you!
The experience could be enjoyable in good weather, but rain made it quite perilous. While rafting, zip-lining, and buggy riding were exhilarating, I found them overly dangerous with inadequate safety measures. Although children can participate, rafting is unsuitable for them without certification due to turbulent waters. The zip-line lacked reliable braking at times, adding to concerns. Buggy driving permitted anyone to drive without a license, which was concerning. The young staff seemed overly confident about safety. After paying €65 ahead of time, we were shocked to find additional mandatory costs upon arrival—renting essential wetsuits for €5, along with glasses and scarves for €6, and water shoes for €10 or crocs for €15. Our hotel only informed us about needing closed shoes beforehand. The jeep tour was disappointing as the rain obscured the scenery.
