Our tour was an excellent experience from start to finish. We were picked up on time from our hotel in Kelowna and then enjoyed a lovely drive to Oliver in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. Our guide Sach, also known as Larry, was very informative and engaging. We arrived on time at the first winery and had enjoyable visits at five different wineries. We even got to take in the stunning views from another fantastic winery not included in our itinerary. Each winery was distinct and provided us with the red varietals we were looking for, including cabs and merlots. The return trip was safe and well-organized.
Christian, our driver, was knowledgeable and personable, which added to the experience. The pacing was fine, but I found that only 3 out of the 5 wineries were worthwhile. I particularly enjoyed Black Hills and Hester Creek, but Riverstone was a letdown, and the hostess's constant presence made it awkward. I wish I had insisted on visiting Maverick or Burrowing Owl, as I had originally considered. The lunch and tasting at Tinhorn were also not impressive. However, Christian was fantastic, and I would recommend him.
The tour was excellent. Our driver was not only knowledgeable but also very accommodating. The vehicle we traveled in was clean, comfortable, and great overall. He arrived punctually for pick-up, and we had a fantastic day.
We enjoyed a fantastic private full-day tour with Frank. He picked us up from our hotel and had organized a wonderful itinerary that included tours and a delicious lunch at Hester Creek. When we needed to adjust our schedule for visiting a vineyard, he quickly accommodated our last-minute change and handled everything with the vineyards for us. It was incredibly convenient to be dropped off right at each location without the hassle of walking through parking lots. Frank was both entertaining and knowledgeable, and he patiently addressed all our requests. Overall, it was an excellent day.
