The tour was outstanding. Stuart, our driver, displayed a friendly and professional demeanor. We strongly recommend this tour to everyone.
Our trip to Penticton to cycle, hike, and explore local wineries was perfect. Rod Strike from Grape Escapes organized an exceptional half-day tasting. We visited both small and larger wineries on 'the bench', confirming our favorites and discovering new wines we hadn't considered before. Rod was a fantastic guide, sharing engaging stories and interesting facts about wine and food, making the experience truly memorable. We ended up purchasing several cases to maximize our luggage allowance for our return to the UK. Thank you, Rod, for an excellent day! Miranda and Peter.
I did not receive any notification about the cancellation of my trip. Just 10 minutes before the winery visit, I checked my account and saw it was declined. When I called the winery, they confirmed they had not accepted my reservation, and I hadn’t heard anything from the booking platform. This was very disappointing, and I will probably book directly next time.
Doug was an excellent guide. We definitely appreciated the pick-up and drop-off since we enjoyed about four glasses of wine over our 2.5-hour tour. We visited some very nice vineyards, and Doug shared valuable local insights, including the frost impact on the vineyards from last season.
Gord arrived to pick us up ahead of schedule. We enjoyed listening to popular songs in the comfy air-conditioned van while we collected other guests. The venues were fantastic, and we had a wonderful time meeting great people. We would absolutely participate in this experience again. Thank you.
Our tour driver Ben was fantastic. He was incredibly kind and offered excellent recommendations, even suggesting dinner spots for us. As visitors from Idaho, we truly appreciated his help.
The pickup at our hotel was punctual. Gord, our driver and guide, made the experience enjoyable with his fun personality and extensive knowledge. He also assisted in boxing the six bottles of wine we bought. The five wineries we explored had unique qualities, and the staff were excellent. Being in a small group allowed for more personal interaction. I would definitely book another tour with this company.
I highly recommend this tour. The van was comfortable and air-conditioned. Our driver, Stuart, was knowledgeable and very accommodating. I would definitely use this service again.
We had a wonderful experience with Stuart for our friend's birthday. He was knowledgeable and made sure we stayed on schedule. The tour included great stops as well. We will definitely recommend him to others.
We anticipated a wine tour led by an informed driver or guide who could share insights on winemaking in the valley, along with visits to four excellent vineyards. Instead, we ended up with a taxi driver who lacked knowledge about wine and the wineries selected. Additionally, we joined a group that included a hen party, which should have had their own experience. One winery, Chronos, excelled, and Larry was eager to engage with us, but the other two were disappointing, particularly Bench 1775 where the host left before the final tasting. Overall, it felt like we spent a lot of money on a tour that offered a poor selection of wineries. I'm uncertain what value we received for the price we paid.
