Boarding at Kalbarri Marina, you set out on a boat to experience the local Rock Lobster industry firsthand. The tour lasts between one and two hours, depending on the catch rate as you pull, re-bait, and reset up to 12 lobster pots in the ocean.

Had a fantastic morning out on the water, catching a lot of crays. I was able to take home two for dinner. There were also many small ones and females that we released.
This trip was enjoyable, and I appreciated being able to take home two lobsters for dinner. However, it would be beneficial to accommodate guests with hearing aids, as the guide spoke quickly and in a monotone, making it difficult to hear. Additionally, offering a coffee and a small snack, like a biscuit, would be nice, particularly for an early morning outing.

We had an incredible experience on January 25, 2026. Aydan, our skipper, was knowledgeable and ensured everyone felt secure while entertaining us with his Aussie humor. Starting the day on the water in Kalbarri was amazing. We spotted dolphins and a shark, and enjoyed crayfish for dinner. Aydan provided excellent cooking instructions, and we dined like we were at a five-star restaurant. Supporting a local company added to our great experience. We highly recommend this tour to both tourists and locals. A perfect 12 out of 10!
This was an excellent trip that was definitely worth the early 6 am start. The boat was impressive, and the crew was outstanding. Our skilled skipper provided great insights into the lobster industry, and we were able to bring home three sizable lobsters. This is one of the best experiences we've had and should not be missed.
The Rock Lobster Pot Pull Tour provided a delightful experience. Although it was shorter than anticipated, it was still quite enjoyable. The crew was friendly and clearly explained the process, making it fascinating to watch the pots being pulled and the lobsters being handled. It's a genuine, simple activity worth doing in Kalbarri if you're looking for something unique.
I had a fantastic experience, as it was my first time trying this. The guides were both friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. It was the best money I've ever spent on a tour, and I came home with three crayfish to barbecue.

We set out early to witness the sunrise on the water. The boat was large and stable, providing ample space. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn about the lobster harvesting process on a more intimate level. Ayden was an excellent guide, full of industry knowledge and eager to answer questions as he and his deckhand worked on hauling the lobster pots, measuring the crays, and resetting the crates before heading back. We spotted a bronze whaler shark, a pod of dolphins, and even a humpback whale, along with stunning views of the coastline. The highlight was being able to share the catch and take some home for a taste test. It was absolutely fantastic and comes highly recommended.
