We highly recommend JWT for several reasons: 1) The crew was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced, showing great interaction with everyone. Their passion for their work was evident. 2) The tour felt personal rather than crowded, allowing us to easily move around the boat to spot whales and take plenty of photos. 3) The boat itself was both comfortable and clean. 4) We were able to see multiple whales and a buoy filled with sea lions that were just as intrigued by us as we were by them. 5) The whole experience was exceptional, from easy booking and clear communication to prompt shuttle service to and from the harbor. If we have the opportunity to return to Juneau, we would certainly choose JWT again.

As a graduate from Georgetown Dental, I have a keen appreciation for precision, professionalism, and a great chairside manner, all of which were evident on this Juneau whale tour. The crew—TJ, Drew, and Allan—were true experts: informative, entertaining, and they had an impressive ability to locate whales before most of us even realized where to look. The whales practically performed for us throughout the trip, breaching, slapping their tails, and surfacing just inches from the boat, as if they were vying for a spot in a National Geographic feature. It was incredible. The boat was stunning, immaculate, and very comfortable. Coupled with the exceptional sunny Juneau weather, glacier views, and calm waters, it truly felt as if Alaska was putting on a show just for us. If you're hesitating about booking this tour, stop second-guessing and go for it. This experience was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Alaska.
I had a really enjoyable time on this whale watching tour, which was the shortest I've ever experienced. Our skipper was excellent, making it worth both the time and expense. We briefly spotted a humpback whale, but the highlight was encountering a large pod of orcas. We also saw some impressive sea lions lounging on a buoy. The boat was small yet comfortable, although there was no hot water available, they do offer bottled water upon request. With nine passengers and two crew members, it felt like a perfect balance. The beautiful weather added to the experience.

TJ and Drew were superb, expertly navigating through choppy waters, and we spotted multiple whales during the tour. I highly recommend this adventure.

I had a fantastic experience today exploring the choppy waters of Alaska while whale watching. The crew, consisting of T.J., Andrew, and James, took great care of us. We were treated to numerous breathtaking whale sightings, and the turbulent sea made the adventure even more enjoyable. Our captain was highly skilled, ensuring we felt safe throughout the trip. On the way back, he played a great soundtrack that featured "Help" and the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean. I highly recommend this company for a safe and fun whale viewing experience in beautiful Juneau.
