Salam did an excellent job informing us about various sea creatures and consistently checked in to see how we were doing. I appreciate Nurin's dedication, especially since she wasn't feeling well. I highly recommend this for anyone who loves nature.
Salam, our guide, was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Even though we arrived thirty minutes late for the tour, he was still understanding and provided us with interesting information about the sea. He interacted well with the kids too. Thank you, Salam! I hope to run into you in Singapore and wish you all the best! - Grace
I had an incredible time with Salam, who was very patient in answering all our questions. He also spotted various sea creatures to share and kept my 5-year-old thoroughly engaged. It's a great experience for both kids and adults.
I had an enjoyable experience with Salam, who shared many interesting facts about Desaru. We saw numerous aquatic creatures during low tide. It's a good idea to bring a sun hat or umbrella, as the sun can be intense. Water shoes are also recommended for an optimal experience.
This tour was fantastic and enjoyable. Having a guide to share insights about the native marine life, geology, and plants was a true privilege. We checked off several sea creatures from our bucket list and were delighted by the monkeys and birds we encountered. I highly recommend this experience; it was certainly a highlight of our time in Malaysia. Thank you!
This was a fascinating exploration of various creatures. I was surprised by how much was concealed among the rocks. However, it would have been helpful to know we’d walk through a forested area, as it meant dealing with mud and many mosquitoes; I would have liked to be better prepared for that.
Udin was an excellent guide who prioritized our safety while helping us discover a variety of fascinating sea creatures. The experience was truly worthwhile, and I would happily join again in the future.
Udin was a fantastic tour guide. He was punctual for our hotel pickup and displayed great patience and knowledge as he answered all our questions about marine life. He even shared extra insights about local jungle wildlife and the origins of Desaru's name. Udin expertly identified where to find various marine species, capturing some for us to see closely before releasing them. As a family with young children, we appreciated that he never rushed us, even when our 2-year-old fell behind. The ticket booking process was straightforward, and I found the best prices on GetYourGuide. Children under 5 can join for free. The staff was very responsive via email and WhatsApp. I recommend bringing a sun hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, a waterproof phone holder, and water shoes or sandals. The guide provided water and ponchos. There’s a short 5-minute walk from the parking area to the beach, and you can expect sandy, muddy, and rocky paths along the way.
Udin was personable, knowledgeable, and very engaging. My wife and I had a wonderful time on the leisurely walk, discovering and learning about various tidal creatures and plants.
This was a fantastic experience. The guide was adept at spotting marine life and very friendly, which made the tour informative. I appreciated the incredible biodiversity and recommend it to anyone interested in zoology. Definitely worth it.
