• Upon entering the museum, you will first see the striking video installation, "Living Landscape." This 13-meter artwork consists of original film clips and photographs illustrating the vibrant Jewish communities in Europe before World War II. There are numerous artifacts, photographs, documents, video testimonies, and artworks displayed across the nine galleries of the museum. The Audio Guide provides insights into the personal narratives of Holocaust victims and survivors connected to these exhibits. At the end of the museum, you will find the significant Hall of Names. Entering the circular space, you will observe a 10-meter high upper dome featuring images of 600 individuals—men, women, and children. Looking down, you will see their images reflected in a pool of water carved into the bedrock. The visit concludes with a stunning panoramic view of contemporary Jerusalem, allowing time for reflection on your experience at the Mount of Remembrance. A recommended duration for the tour is between 1.5 and 4 hours.
