The instructor was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience effortless. The process was seamless and the scenery was breathtaking. I would certainly recommend it.
Kevin was a fantastic guide. Together with his crew, they made our initial kayaking experience feel professional with excellent instructions prior to our departure. He shared essential skills and interesting facts about the area. The scenery alone was worth the visit. I highly recommend this experience and would love to return.
Kevin and his team were very friendly. This is an outstanding activity to enjoy in New York while soaking up the sun, and I highly recommend it.
We booked a small group kayaking session at 9am from the Jersey side of the Hudson, which offered fantastic views and photo opportunities of the Manhattan Skyline. The staff were helpful and attentive to our surroundings. I highly recommend this tour, especially in the morning due to the reduced maritime traffic and pleasant summer temperatures.
I had a fantastic experience that surpassed my expectations. The team was incredibly helpful and guided us on an amazing adventure.
The experience offered stunning views of the Manhattan skyline and nearby boats. It provided a good workout without being too strenuous, along with clear instructions for safety. The staff were also very pleasant.
This was an extremely unprofessional and aggressive experience that should be avoided. Spend your money at a nice bar instead for better views and pictures. The "LED night tour with amazing views of the city and the Statue of Liberty" is misleading. You hardly leave the dock area, with most of the time spent near other boats, and the Statue itself is nowhere to be seen. Our boat had no proper lights, just a poor-quality glow stick underneath. The only photo opportunity was briefly by the Colgate clock. The DJ situation was simply a one-song selection streamed from a power boat, hardly audible during the trip. Parking was a nightmare, with attendants yelling at everyone and behaving erratically. On the water, things were chaotic with confusing and contradictory directions making it tough to stay with our group. Each time we tried to gather for photos, we were told to keep moving. When we attempted to take skyline photos, one guide told us to move up for better angles, but as we complied, another guide aggressively rushed over to yell at us. Their reckless maneuvering churned the water and nearly capsized us at night, which was dangerous and utterly unnecessary. Upon returning, the captain claimed his actions were for safety and insulted our party, suggesting we were the real danger and even accusing the designated driver of being intoxicated. This is not how to create a memorable night for a group.
What a fantastic experience with an incredible team. Everything was safe, well-organized, on time, and enjoyable. I went on the sunset tour and will definitely do it again.
Experiencing something outside the usual NYC activities was fantastic. We enjoyed some exercise while taking in the stunning skyline view. This is definitely an excellent option for an evening with friends or your partner.
Our tour to the Statue of Liberty was canceled at the last minute under questionable circumstances. We were informed that we needed to complete a one-hour tour beforehand, which was not mentioned on the website. As experienced kayakers, we found this requirement perplexing, especially since they promote the contrary. It seemed like they might not have wanted to go through with a tour that was likely underbooked. While we accepted the refund, we were truly disappointed as we were eager for the experience.
