The boat cruise was delightful, and on the return trip, we spotted sheep, goats, and even a grizzly, allowing us to capture some great photos. We enjoyed an excellent tour led by our guide Yvonne, who was both humorous and well-informed about the region and its wildlife. She was able to spot mountain goats and elk, and ensured we adhered to park laws while maintaining a respectful distance for viewing. It was disappointing to see another tour group, likely operating illegally, allowing their passengers to exit the vehicle and disturb the elk. We strongly recommend choosing companies affiliated with Viator, as they prioritize animal privacy and comply with regulations while still offering an enjoyable experience in nature.

The tour was fantastic, thanks to our driver and guide Warren, who was very well-informed. The views at Maligne Lake and Spirit Island were extraordinary, and Nelson and Michael provided excellent service on the boat. While we didn't see much wildlife, the stunning landscapes compensated for it. Booking this experience is definitely worthwhile.
It's a good idea to check the weather ahead of time. Our guide was exceptional, and everything else went smoothly. However, the boat ride, which was the main highlight, was canceled because of poor visibility.

We were lucky enough to spot a bull moose, a cow, and a grizzly bear munching on berries. The boat ride to Spirit Island was just as remarkable, led by a lively guide and captain. Just a small point: there's no need to bring a packed lunch as there are restaurants at Maligne Lake.
