What's the itinerary?+
• The assembly point for the tour is where the journey begins. If you have arranged for hotel pickup, you will be brought here prior to the start. A brief introduction to the team will be provided, along with a review of the itinerary. Luggage storage is available on-site if needed. • There will be visits to two genuine Thar Desert villages, accessible by jeep. Upon arrival, news of your presence will quickly spread, with children approaching to greet you, women observing from a distance, and men welcoming you and inquiring about your life and family. Due to their seclusion, these villages are not accustomed to visitors, making your arrival a notable occasion. You will have time to explore the villages, enjoy chai breaks, and afterward, partake in a traditional lunch prepared from local ingredients at a family home. Be sure to take photographs, but ask permission before capturing portraits. • After your time at the villages, you will transfer to a different location for the desert safari, where camels will be waiting. Watching the sunset from the dunes is a memorable experience as colors shift across the sky and sands. As night falls, the temperature drops, allowing for a clear view of the starry sky free from light pollution. You will return to Jaisalmer by 10 PM.
