What's the itinerary?+
• Pickup will occur from your hotel or airport at approximately 8 AM to begin the Jaipur sightseeing tour. The first stop will be Amber Fort, a notable fort located in Amer, Rajasthan, about 11 kilometers from Jaipur. This site is elevated on a hill and is a significant point of interest in Jaipur. • Following Amber Fort and a lunch break, you will visit Jal Mahal, also referred to as the Water Palace. Entry to this monument is not allowed, but it is a spot for taking photographs. The palace and the surrounding lake were enhanced in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. A luxurious AC restaurant will be the venue for lunch, where you can enjoy the local flavors. • Then you will proceed to the royal cremation ground for the Kachwaha Rajput rulers, featuring exquisitely carved cenotaphs (chhatris) made of marble and sandstone that represent a mix of Rajput and Mughal styles. Each cenotaph is detailed to honor various maharajas of Jaipur. This peaceful and less-visited site, situated amidst the Aravalli hills, reflects the royal heritage of Rajasthan. • Jantar Mantar is the next destination, a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments constructed by King Sawai Jai Singh II, completed in 1734. It houses the world's largest stone sundial and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, located near both City Palace and Hawa Mahal. • After lunch, you will visit City Palace, which was founded simultaneously with the city of Jaipur by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727, when he moved his court from Amber. Up until 1949, City Palace served as the ceremonial and administrative center for the Maharaja of Jaipur. • Patrika Gate, located in Jaipur at Jawahar Circle, is a brightly decorated gateway known for its exquisite hand-painted murals that celebrate Rajasthan’s culture, heritage, and history. This detailed architectural feature is a popular photo location and a representation of the city’s royal essence, situated within one of Asia's largest circular parks. • Lastly, you will stop at Hawa Mahal for photography; entrance is not permitted. This building, made from red and pink sandstone, is adjacent to the City Palace and connects to the zenana, or women's chambers. It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. After these visits, the tour will conclude, and you will be dropped off at your chosen location in Jaipur.
