• The tour begins in the Historical walled city, known for its pink hue which gives it the nickname “Pink City.” This Bicycle Tour of Jaipur blends cultural insights, impressive architecture, notable food spots, and interactions with local residents as we navigate narrow streets lined with vintage Havelis and other architectural wonders. • After enjoying tea at a well-known tea shop in Jaipur, the ride continues to the Albert Hall Museum. In the morning, the busy street transforms into a serene public park, showcasing the morning routines of Jaipur's residents. Cycling leisurely along this thoroughfare provides a unique experience. • A photo stop will be provided at the iconic building of Jaipur to capture its beauty in the morning light. • Approaching the temple, we skillfully navigate our bikes through crowds of people headed to the grand ceremony. Entering the Govind Dev Ji temple offers a spiritually uplifting moment. A community of devotees prepares for the traditional Aarti, with the ringing of large bells. The Aarti, or main worship, creates an enchanting atmosphere, especially as hundreds of devotees sing together while holding lit wicks before the sacred idol of Lord Krishna. • We will cycle through the City Palace grounds and pass through the grand entrances when traffic is minimal. • Our route will take us through the historic spices and sweets market. We will pause briefly at a popular tea seller’s rooftop above a sweet shop to savor the town's best Fritters (Pakoras) while enjoying tea and taking in views of one of the most strategically planned old cities in India. • The Murti Kala Colony is another highlight within the walled city, renowned for its marble sculptures known globally. Here, we witness how skilled Indian artisans shape stone into intricate sculptures, accompanied by the rhythmic sounds of their tools creating a unique auditory backdrop. The artisans busily craft images of Hindu deities, enriching the spiritual atmosphere of the street. • A visit to Jaipur would not be complete without a stop at a famous Lassi shop, known for its churned yogurt drinks. This Lassi outlet dates back to the independence era and is located just outside the walled city. We will end our bike tour with a refreshing glass of Lassi.
