Chand Baori

Chand Baori is an ancient stepwell located in the village of Abhaneri, about 95 kilometres from Jaipur, known for its impressive depth and intricate architecture. Built during the 9th century by the rulers of the Gupta Empire, the well features thousands of symmetrical steps descending to the water below, surrounded by ornate carvings and sculptures.
