Two hours on the Snake River — a leisurely float to spot wildlife like eagles, moose, and otters while enjoying views of the Grand Teton.
This two-hour float trip offers a serene way to experience the Snake River without the turbulence of white-water rafting. Departing from Jackson Hole, the tour allows you to glide past areas where bald eagles and ospreys nest, with opportunities to see moose, deer, and river otters along the riverbank.
Keep your camera handy for capturing the scenic beauty of the Grand Teton and the surrounding nature. The journey is smooth and relaxing, ideal for those who want to connect with Wyoming's stunning landscapes while remaining dry and comfortable.

Reviews
The trip was enjoyable and relaxing, though we only saw eagles and the low water level meant there weren't many rapids. Our guide was friendly and well-informed, making the experience worthwhile, but I think doing it once is probably sufficient.
The overall experience was impacted by rain and even hail while we floated the river. We bundled up in ponchos and were notified about the possibility of rain, with the option to cancel until the last moment. However, we felt our guide could have offered more commentary, unlike our previous float trip near Glacier National Park where the guide was informative and engaging throughout.
The views were stunning, and our tour guide was excellent, providing us with a wealth of information about the river's history and wildlife.
The experience largely hinges on the guide's knowledge rather than their driving skills. Our guide, Egan, was excellent. However, the tour feels a bit lengthy, as sitting in an uncomfortable position for around 2.5 hours can strain your lower back.
We had a wonderful time on the trip! The scenery was stunning, and the guides were not only friendly but also very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and landscape.
The river rafting experience was enjoyable and calming, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. We mainly saw birds as wildlife. Our guide Nick was not only knowledgeable but also skilled at handling the boat and attentive to all participants. The entire outing was well-organized and fun.
It was a fantastic journey. The guide was very knowledgeable, and it was an excellent opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The float trip was fantastic. Our guide, Julian, was not only knowledgeable but also very personable. He highlighted the wildlife we encountered and was careful about the few rough spots on the water. It was a great experience! Thanks to Dave Hansen and Julian.
Booking with Dave Hansen is a great decision. The operation is top-notch, and the staff is very welcoming. The entire experience lasts about 3 hours, including bus transport to and from the river, making it relaxing and scenic.
Our guide demonstrated impressive skill in navigating the river. She shared fascinating stories about the region and highlighted the wildlife around us. The float trip was truly enjoyable.
