Choosing this tour was a fantastic decision! Each day was smooth and filled with insights. Our guide Shane was calm and patient; his life experiences and teaching skills made the trip exceptional. We had many thrilling moments seeing wildlife and natural wonders. Everything was perfect with no complaints. We also appreciate being dropped off at our final hotel on short notice.
This was an excellent tour. John, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and adept at navigating the weather challenges to give us a fantastic experience. We saw a variety of wildlife, including bears, elk, and wolves. I highly recommend this tour. Just be sure to reserve your overnight accommodations ahead of time, be ready for snow in October, and bring your own water bottle since water is provided in aluminum cans.
The two-day excursion through Yellowstone and the Tetons was incredibly fulfilling. John has an excellent ability to spot wildlife. He truly enhances your tour experience. The tour fee was fair considering the wealth of knowledge we gained, the stunning landscapes we witnessed, and the enjoyable ride through Yellowstone.
This two-day tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide, John, demonstrated extensive knowledge of Yellowstone and its wildlife, expertly spotting animals throughout the journey. We managed to see nearly everything except for a moose. John was very accommodating to everyone in the group. The van allowed us access to areas that larger buses can't reach, and we had sufficient time to enjoy all the main attractions at a relaxed pace. This tour is definitely the best way to experience Yellowstone.
John from Teton Floats was undoubtedly the finest tour guide we've encountered. He was friendly and well-informed about Yellowstone. We spotted a grizzly bear just five minutes into the park! Additionally, we saw a mother black bear and her cubs in a tree, as well as bald eagles and numerous bison and elk. It was an incredible experience. Just a heads up, this is an overnight tour, so you will need to arrange a hotel room. If you enjoy rustic accommodations, Chico Hot Springs is a great choice. Should we return to Jackson, we will definitely ask for John at Teton Floats for our next adventure.
This experience exceeded all expectations; 5 stars doesn’t fully capture it. Our guide John was fantastic. Initially, we were unsure about the price, but it was worth every cent. Planning our Yellowstone/Teton trip felt overwhelming, but this excursion eliminated that stress. We visited all the sites we wanted and more, without the hassle of organizing it ourselves. When we arrived at crowded spots, John would drop us off with specific instructions for the best views, saving us time on parking and walking. We saw far more than we would have alone, and his extensive knowledge was impressive. When wildlife was spotted at a distance, he provided a telescope for us to use, allowing us to observe a wolf pack that we would have missed otherwise. Chico Springs was a lovely rustic experience, and the bar and grill served delicious food. The next morning, we were ready for the sunrise in the park. If you're feeling stressed about planning an itinerary to maximize your time in the parks, I highly recommend this tour. They handle all the arrangements, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
