The owners were wonderful to coordinate with. Although our original day was windy and chilly, they brought us to the sandbar to assess the situation and, upon realizing it was too cold to enjoy, permitted us to reschedule. Captain Charley was exceptional—very friendly and approachable. We arrived early, and he was happy to begin the trip ahead of schedule. After leaving the sandbar, we explored a few channels, where he provided entertaining and informative commentary. The boat, while older, was comfortable and felt safe. It had a large cooler for drinks and snacks. If you prefer sitting, consider bringing a small chair for the sand. I would definitely choose this experience again.
Captain Pete was fantastic. Even though heavy winds prevented us from reaching the sandbar, he provided an intimate tour on the Bay side. His extensive knowledge of marine life and engaging approach ensured the kids had a great time. We spotted a manatee, starfish, osprey hunting, and admired lovely homes. The journey through the mangroves was stunning! He truly knows the area well and shares captivating stories.
We had an amazing time with Captain Pete! He was fantastic and flexible, allowing us to tailor our day. He was especially attentive to a member of our group with disabilities, helping her in and out of the water. She said she never imagined she would be able to enjoy the ocean again. It was the highlight of our trip!

From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding. Captain Charley was an exceptional and entertaining guide. We were surprised at how this tour highlighted the natural beauty, tranquility, and positive energy of Islamorada. We'll definitely return next year to join Captain Charley again!
The sandbar was stunning but quite crowded. We enjoyed ourselves, although the boat was quite old and appeared a bit shabby. Additionally, there was hardly any water in the cooler, even though we were told it would be provided, so the two sodas we brought had to be shared among five people on a hot day. Given the boat's condition and the lack of sufficient water, we felt it was a bit pricey. Nonetheless, we still had a wonderful experience overall.
We really enjoyed our experience with Captain Gary. I would strongly suggest this tour as he was entertaining and shared some fantastic stories.
Make sure to pack towels, snacks, and extra drinks. They supply water, so just prepare your playlist for the journey and enjoy the day.
