This experience has certainly checked an item off my bucket list. I was anticipating a sighting of just a couple of whales in the distance, but instead our boat was encircled by numerous whales that came quite close. After approximately thirty minutes of sailing, we arrived at the spot where the whales were feeding, allowing us to observe these incredible creatures for over an hour. A whale expert accompanied us and shared fascinating information about the whales, including some of their names based on their unique tail patterns.
Our whale watching trip in July was fantastic. The guide shared lots of knowledge and gave us updates throughout. Witnessing two whales was truly incredible. The return trip was bumpy, and some guests got wet outside, but it was enjoyable overall. The boat featured indoor seating and ample outdoor space for whale viewing.
I just completed a whale watching tour with this company in Isafjordur, Iceland, and I highly recommend it. We were surrounded by humpback whales. The pickup location is conveniently located near the cruise ship terminal, and the crew on board was very knowledgeable. We only had to travel about 15 minutes to spot the whales.
The whale watching tour was amazing! We saw a lot of humpbacks, and the guide on the boat shared a wealth of information with us. It was a fantastic day to be out there.
It was an excellent experience with plenty of whales spotted. Our guide Tom was very informative and accommodating. I truly enjoyed it, but make sure to wear warm clothes!
Tom and the boat captain were excellent. We spotted at least seven whales, including a pod of four that we observed for an extended period. It was incredible to see all four tails rising simultaneously. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing experience seeing numerous whales. The crew was very knowledgeable and attentive. I would absolutely choose to do this again. Thank you!
This was the best whale watching experience I've ever had. We followed two groups of whales that came right up to our boat, providing fantastic photo and video opportunities. Witnessing four tails flipping at once was truly incredible. The trip was outstanding, and the crew, along with a visiting whale specialist gathering data for research, enhanced the experience. It's great to know that a portion of the trip’s earnings goes to a whale conservation fund.
The whale watching tour was fantastic. Our guide demonstrated extensive knowledge and a deep passion for the whales, sharing thoughts on the importance of conservation in Iceland. We spotted thirteen humpbacks. This trip will not let you down.
What an incredible experience. We observed our tour group shuffle into a cramped small boat and felt relieved when our open vessel arrived. Boarding was quick, and we went straight to the top deck, where we were provided blankets for our voyage. Hearing an expert passionately discuss the whales was a highlight. We were so close that we really felt part of the experience as the whales approached us. On the way back, we got to see various items the tour guide had gathered about whales along with photos of the whale tails we had seen. This was truly remarkable.
