We had an amazing experience. On a whim, we decided to visit the falls and started exploring local providers. We stopped to talk with Gudnundur, who was by his impressive super truck. After a pleasant conversation, we decided to book with him, and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. The vehicle was remarkable—clean, comfortable, and Gudnundur was an excellent driver and knowledgeable guide. We visited the falls, a historic farm, and a village, but the highlight was definitely the off-roading adventure that took us to the peak of a local mountain. The view was breathtaking and worth every cent! The tour lasted about 5 hours, and Gudnundur assured us we would return on time. I highly recommend booking with them directly. I absolutely suggest this tour if you're visiting Isafjordur.
The guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. The waterfall was stunning; however, the hike to it can be quite challenging if you're not accustomed to climbing over rocks.
The experience at the waterfall was fantastic. Our guide shared plenty of insights about the region, and the small group size was ideal. This tour not only brought us to the waterfall but also included another adventure featuring spectacular views and an enjoyable ride. I highly recommend this tour; it was far more personal and engaging compared to larger bus tours.
We had a fantastic time in a super truck. Gummi was an excellent guide, and the off-roading was exhilarating. The routes we took were incredible! Gummi ensured our safety throughout the experience. It was a fun opportunity to see the stunning waterfalls without feeling hurried. Hearing Gummi's personal stories about Isafjordur was truly enjoyable.
This became a private tour for two couples and the pick-up from the cruise ship terminal was seamless. Our guide, who is also the owner, was excellent, providing insightful narration and accommodating our preferences in the itinerary. The waterfall was one of the best we encountered, and the off-roading experience, far from the large buses, was fantastic. We also visited a charming small farm with a museum about Iceland’s national hero, where we enjoyed some delightful “happy marriage cake.” The journey included mountain trails that offered stunning views.

This was an excellent opportunity to explore Isafjodur. Despite the rain, the super truck was very useful. We explored mountain tops with stunning views while also learning about Icelandic culture. I highly recommend this tour. Just a note, it was "semi-private" as the van accommodates around seven people.
