The drive from the cruise ship to the waterfall was exceptional, showcasing one of the most impressive waterfalls I have ever witnessed. Both the driver and tour guide were fantastic. I strongly recommend this company.
This was an amazing experience that far surpassed my expectations. The series of waterfalls is impressive; reaching the top is enjoyable but not essential. I highly recommend it.
The journey through the beautiful countryside to Godafoss was incredible, featuring charming country churches and traditional sod houses. Watching the Icelandic horses was a highlight, and we had a great time taking photos with them. Our lovely hosts provided homemade treats, enhancing the experience. The botanical garden had an impressive variety of plants that exceeded my expectations. Our guide shared fascinating folklore about the region, making the tour even more engaging. I highly recommend this experience.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the region, providing the perfect amount of commentary on the way to the falls. We had plenty of time to explore and walk the path up to the highest level of the falls. This excursion comes highly recommended.
Hiking to the waterfall was a wonderful experience. Meeting the guide and finding the bus right after our cruise was simple. The tour was beautiful, and we are pleased we participated. We wholeheartedly recommend it.
The waterfall was breathtaking. However, the guide lacked engagement. I expected more interaction, details, and historical context during the lengthy drive. There were many interesting sights along the route that the guide could have elaborated on regarding culture, history, and local flora and fauna, but it remained quite silent.
The waterfalls may not be as big as others I've encountered, and the walkway can be quite slippery. It's advisable to wear shoes with good grip and to bring a jacket to protect against the spray.
Definitely worth the visit and quite impressive. The timing was well managed, allowing for ample time at the photo stop. I would happily do this again.
The tour guide offered fantastic commentary, providing a wealth of information about the local area and Iceland overall. I can't recall her name, but she was from New Zealand, and her cousin was our driver. The ascent to the waterfall was quite enjoyable, even with the rain.
Our guide and driver were wonderful. They led us through Norway's largest tunnel on our way to the waterfalls. Upon arrival, I was extremely pleased we weren't part of a cruise group, as they were quite unruly. I highly recommend this tour.
