Boats, beaches, and the parts of Iquitos you only see from the water. Ferry rides, sunset cruises, snorkel runs, and the occasional sailing day for travellers who measure good cities by their coastline.
Our guided tour is special because your guide keeps you well-informed throughout the entire journey—not just taking you places, but explaining what you’re seeing, the cultural context, and river life. We also choose indigenous communities where the experience is authentic and respectful, with no pressure to buy crafts and without overpriced entrance fees that take advantage of travelers. We protect our guests from unexpected or excessive costs, keeping everything clear, fair, and safe. The tour is well-organized and starts at the Boulevard, a clean, calm, and safe area—so you begin the adventure with complete peace of mind. And because it’s almost a private tour (small groups of up to 6 passengers per boat), we can move at a relaxed pace—no rushing and no crowds. While cruising on the Amazon River, we can spend extra time looking for dolphins, slowing down when possible to enjoy the scenery—something large group tours rarely do because they follow strict schedules and move too fast.
Join us on this unique and adventurous experience! The tour begins when your local guide, Marlon, meets you in front of Restaurante Fitzcarraldo in Iquitos (2 short blocks from the Plaza de Armas). You will then take a motokar to the Belen Market where you will explore many stalls of regional foods, drinks, spices, medicines and craft goods. The tour is designed so you can see hidden corners of the market and taste local fruits and delicacies. Ask questions along the way because Marlon is very knowledgeable and can help you negotiate! To further this cultural experience, you’ll then take a boat ride along the Venice of Iquitos and see the daily life of the Belén neighborhood and people. Be sure to bring your camera and wear closed toe shoes! Tour includes bottled water, transportation between attractions (motokar and boat) and select tastings within the market.
Explore the spectacular Amazon Jungle on this 3-day adventure from Iquitos! Cruise along the Amazon River by day and night, spotting native wildlife such as monkeys and exotic birds from the water. Embark on guided jungle hikes, visit a traditional sugarcane distillery, and take in the breathtaking rainforest landscape. With all meals included, two nights of accommodation at Heliconia Lodge, and round-trip airport transfers, this once-in-a-lifetime experience promises unforgettable moments in the heart of the Amazon.
If you like fishing and spending time outdoors, this activity is perfect for you. Lives a different adventure in Iquitos fishing piranhas, which abound in the extensive Amazon River, and you can spend an unforgettable moment, sailing with beautiful landscapes of the spectacular Peruvian jungle.
Escape into the Amazon on this full-day adventure from Iquitos. Cruise along the Amazon River in search of pink dolphins as you head deep into the jungle. Visit a rescue center supporting Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, where wild monkeys roam freely, and stop at Fundo Pedrito to see capybaras, caimans, and the massive Arapaima gigas. Stand beneath the towering Ceiba tree — known locally as the "Tree of Life" and sacred to indigenous communities. After a farm-to-table lunch, try piranha fishing (no experience needed), then visit the Yagua tribe for a glimpse into Amazonian culture. The day winds down with a serene boat ride back to Iquitos as afternoon light fades over the water. - Included with booking: Bilingual guide, lunch, and hotel/airport pickup & drop-off - Pink river dolphin watching - Monkeys, sloths, capybara, anaconda, and more! - Piranha fishing - all experience levels - Yagua tribe visit - The sacred "Tree of Life" Ceiba tree
