This trip is highly recommended. Sergio was a friendly and professional guide. Visiting the Humberstone salt mines was fascinating, and I was impressed with how well the community is organized, featuring a theater, pharmacy, and clinic.
We headed directly to La Tirana, where the church is stunning against a unique starry blue sky with a call to prayer. After that, we traveled to Pica and enjoyed lunch at Qori Inti since we had heard great things about the llama stew. It certainly lived up to the hype—flavorful, tender, and complemented by original, delicious salads with generous portions, maybe even too much. Our final stop was La Cocha, which was very pleasant with warm, clean water. I highly recommend this experience; everything was excellent.
The guided tour in English and Spanish was enjoyable. However, the other stops in the afternoon could be slightly shorter. The visit to Humberstone and St. Laura was quite impressive, and we appreciated the included lunch.
