Schilthorn
Interlaken, Switzerland

The Schilthorn is a mountain summit in the Bernese Alps, rising to 2,970 metres. Famous for its panoramic views of over 200 peaks, including the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau, it gained international attention as the filming location for the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" in 1969. The revolving restaurant on top offers a 360-degree view, making it a unique dining experience.
The best time to visit is during summer months when the weather is clear, allowing for optimal views and photography. Take the cable car from the nearby village of Mürren, which adds to the scenic journey. Always bring warm layers, as temperatures can be brisk even in summer.
