You will have a guided half-day city tour that includes a visit to the Royal Tombs of the Qutub Shahi Kings, located near Golconda Fort. This site features over 20 tombs dedicated to the seven Qutub Shahi rulers, known as the 'Seven Tombs'. These monuments showcase a unique blend of Persian, Pathan, and Hindu architectural styles and have stood the test of time, representing the grandeur of the kings interred there. • The tour continues to Golconda Fort, recognized as one of India's most impressive fortress complexes. Established by the Qutb Shahs in the 16th century, the inner fort includes remnants of palaces, mosques, and a pavilion that rises about 130 meters high, offering panoramic views of the area. With walls that stand 15 to 18 feet high and protective gates with iron spikes, this fort was designed to withstand attacks. The fort's remarkable architecture and the acoustic system, which allows sounds from the entrance to be heard nearly a kilometer away, add to its allure. Historically, Golconda was also famous for its diamond mines, including the origin of the renowned 'Kohinoor' diamond. • The experience includes witnessing the Sound and Light Show at Golconda Fort, where historical narratives come to life through vibrant illuminations and engaging storytelling, highlighting the fort's rich history. Around 8pm, the tour concludes with a return to your hotel or another chosen location in Hyderabad.
