• Pickup around 3:30 AM from your hotel or any location in Hyderabad, followed by a transfer to Hyderabad Airport for a flight to New Delhi, departing around 5:30 AM. • Arrive at New Delhi Airport around 8 AM and start a 3-hour drive to Agra via the Yamuna Express Highway. • Upon reaching Agra, visit the Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), an iconic monument epitomizing the timeless love story of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife, Queen Mumtaz Mahal. (Note that the Taj Mahal is closed every Friday.) • Based on guest preference, visit the Agra Fort (also a UNESCO World Heritage Site), constructed by Emperor Akbar in 1565 A.D. This large fort, made from red sandstone, features elegant buildings showcasing a blend of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. The fort's courtyards, mosques, and private chambers narrate the history of the Mughal Empire. • If time allows, shopping in Agra offers a chance to explore its impressive handicrafts, including marble and soft stone inlay work. The Mughals were influential patrons of the arts; Empress Nur Jahan was herself an artist skilled in zari embroidery. Notable handicrafts from Agra include leather goods, brassware, carpets, jewelry, and embroidery. • At the conclusion of the Agra tour, return to New Delhi airport for your flight back to Hyderabad. • Upon arrival in Hyderabad, you will be collected from the airport and dropped off at your hotel.
