The Red Sea is a rich marine ecosystem that borders Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, serving as a crucial waterway for trade and tourism since ancient times. In Aqaba, visitors encounter clear turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and a backdrop of rugged mountains that create a striking contrast to the ocean's surface. Diving and snorkelling are popular activities here, particularly around the nearby protected reefs, like the Japanese Garden and the Cedar Pride wreck. The best time to visit is from April to June and from September to November, when the weather is pleasantly warm without the sweltering heat of summertime.
