It was a wonderful experience with fantastic food and an enjoyable show. I had a calming evening watching the sunset, and the friendly atmosphere, along with attentive service from the staff, made it even better.
The show was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Hawaii. I'm really glad we had this experience.
An incredible experience with a stunning show.
My family experienced a Luau for the first time and they absolutely loved the ambiance and the performances. The dancers were exceptional.
The experience wasn't worth the cost. There were countless people outside watching for free. I would have preferred to skip the show, spend $100 on dinner and drinks elsewhere, and enjoy my drinks at the hotel. Although the show was decent, it was quite brief, and most of the time was spent waiting in lines to enter and get food.
This experience was deeply rooted in culture. I enjoyed discovering the history conveyed through music and dance. The food was excellent. It was truly worth the expense.
I highly suggest opting for the premier seating. Our seats were fantastic! The food exceeded our expectations, and the entertainment was much more enjoyable than we anticipated. The location was excellent too; we stayed at Waikiki Village, which was just a short walk to the luau. Very convenient!
I experienced a total bait and switch. I spent $450 for my husband to attend a luau that we chose carefully, considering his medical needs and location. Instead, our luau was canceled for a corporate event, and we were relocated from the lawn to the top of a parking garage. The space was cramped and not at all what I had paid for. We were notified just a day before about this change, leaving us no time to find an alternative since we were leaving the next day. I've attempted to call and leave messages for weeks, but none of my efforts have been acknowledged. This situation is very disappointing, and a staff member I talked to the morning after the event mentioned that these issues happen frequently. Be cautious before making a payment for this experience, as it seems the Starlight luau may move you from a nice green area with an ocean view to a rooftop where others can observe your experience. This was not what I paid for at all.
The experience was incredibly disappointing. The food got soaked by rain, resulting in mushy rice and bread rolls. I picked this luau for its proximity to our hotel, but it was relocated to a rooftop at the Hilton. At over $500 for two, it was not worth the cost at all.
The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, and the show was vibrant and entertaining. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
