Although we missed the eruption by a day, the sights we experienced and the insights provided were outstanding. Listening to Jill share her childhood experiences near the volcano was perhaps even more enjoyable than witnessing the eruption itself—though maybe not quite. It's great to support a small business run by Jill and her husband.

Finding the tour guide at the Hilo cruise terminal was very straightforward, and Josh was a wonderful guide. While Rainbow Falls is beautiful, my background from Buffalo, NY makes me partial to Niagara Falls. I had a great time at Volcanoes National Park, and I appreciated the brief visits to the Gardens and the macadamia nut factory.
