During our short visit to the island on a cruise, this tour provided an excellent overview of the various sites. Our guide Dave was attentive to everyone's needs. Initially, there was a minor confusion about our tour's route, but it turned out even better than we anticipated. We discovered some surprising spots, including a black sand beach, and concluded our day with sightings of sea turtles and a double rainbow. I highly recommend this experience.
The tour offered stunning views and lasted the entire day, making it truly worthwhile. Our guide, Dave, exhibited excellent knowledge throughout. The volcano park was accessible, and the lava tube was impressive. The waterfalls were breathtaking, and the turkey sandwiches were quite tasty as well.

Their customer service truly exceeded our expectations. The waterfalls were stunning, and all entry fees for the falls and Volcano National Park were included. We were also provided with sandwiches, snacks, and drinks. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend Aloha Aina.

We had a fantastic time on our tour with Holley. She made every effort to plan our itinerary in a way that would minimize rain, but Hilo had other plans, and we encountered quite a bit of rain at each stop. Holley ensured we were comfortable by providing umbrellas, which made a significant difference, and several people asked us where we got them. Other passengers recognized us from our cruise ship, where we were completing a 54-day journey. We were grateful to choose this tour over the ship’s options. There were only five of us, so we had plenty of space in the van. Akaka Falls was particularly beautiful, and the visit to Volcanoes National Park was everything I had hoped for, even without an active eruption, which was just unfortunate timing. We had ample time at each site, which perfectly met our expectations, and the weather in the park was ideal with great visibility. Holley was both knowledgeable and friendly. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour and suggest requesting Holley as your guide.
What an incredible experience! We explored the volcanoes up close to the crater, ventured through lava tubes, and made various photo stops. Highlights included Rainbow Falls, Akaka Falls, the statue, and stunning black sand beaches. Our guide Holley was exceptionally knowledgeable and allowed ample time for exploration. The day felt relaxed without any rush, and we enjoyed tasty lunch and snacks. They even coordinated our pickup and ensured we returned well before our ship departed. Everything was well-organized, making it an exhilarating day—by far the best excursion I've had in a long time. I will certainly plan more trips during my next visit to the Big Island.
