We took a Yokl tour on a recent Saturday afternoon and had an excellent experience. Eileen was an amazing hostess, and Bob did a great job as our trolley driver. This tour is ideal for everyone; as locals, we discovered fascinating stories about our community. Other participants included a bridal party and a family visiting from out of state. If you are considering a Yokl tour, go for it! It’s a fantastic way to have fun while supporting local businesses, whether you're a resident, a visitor, or celebrating a special occasion.
Eileen identified a gap in Hershey's food scene and successfully addressed it. As food tour enthusiasts, we found this experience to be among the best, especially considering it's been operating for just six months. We participated in the Mid-day Magic Tour, beginning at the Fresh Market, a local farmer's market. There, we enjoyed samples from Owl Hill Provisions, Midstate Distillery, MKT Tacos, S Clive Weaver, and Seasons. My favorite was the delicious meatball from Owl Hill Provisions, with the chef even revealing his secret ingredient. Though I'm not usually a bourbon fan, Midstate Distillery's smooth tasting warmed my throat nicely. The smoked bologna and cheeses from S Clive Weaver provided the perfect balance to the sweet empanadas from MKT Tacos. To my surprise, we even sampled excellent olive oil at Seasons, discovering various unique flavors. Afterward, the trolley took us to Hummelstown, where we continued indulging in Chocolates by Tina Marie and Cubby's Ice Cream—something we anticipated in Hershey, PA. Throughout the tour, Eileen paid close attention to our needs and shared fascinating commentary and history about the places we visited. This experience blended learning about the area with sampling delicious local food, effectively promoting the local economy. We highly recommend this food tour.
This was our first experience with a food tour, and we are certain we'll participate in another one. We had a great time visiting Pronio's Market and thoroughly enjoyed all the food stops. My favorite was Rising Sun, which has transformed its interior design beautifully.
We visited four locations, spending roughly an hour at each, with the final stop being an ice cream place (the shortest visit since we enjoyed our snacks on the trolley). The guide, who is also the tour owner/operator, shared fascinating history along with insights about each business, making the experience memorable. This tour truly showcases delightful food in Hershey from unexpected places. We had a great time and ended up quite satisfied! At some stops, you can buy drinks or products, but it's wise to carry a credit card as one spot only accepted that method. I wholeheartedly recommend this food tour as a fun outing for adults.
Eileen was an absolute joy to be around! She turned our surprise party into an unforgettable experience by taking on the role of DJ. Everyone had a fantastic time, and nobody went home hungry. We can't wait to return for more shopping and dining.

We received insightful information from the owners about their passion for running their businesses. Each stop made my wife and me eager to return for full meals rather than just tastings. If you find yourself in the Hershey area, we highly suggest adding the Yolk trolley to your plans. We also recommend booking directly with Eileen to support local businesses. Considering her expenses for the trolley, restaurant payments, driver costs, and needing to turn a profit, we felt the price was very reasonable. We would certainly participate again or explore other cities if she expands her business.
An enjoyable and tasty way to enjoy an afternoon in Hershey. The vendors we visited were all engaging and friendly; be sure to arrive with an appetite, as the "snacks" are quite filling.
This tour provides an authentic local food experience. It was enjoyable and welcoming, with an excellent guide. Our group was small, consisting of only eight people, and although we were the only non-locals, we quickly made great friends.
