David was an excellent guide who introduced us to incredible vineyards we would have missed otherwise. Everyone was very welcoming and eager to share their wine. David provided a wealth of information and organized our tastings, making it hassle-free for us. When we encountered traffic, he skillfully navigated around it without causing any delays. Could I give this experience six stars? David was an outstanding host for our anniversary tour through three Sonoma AVA’s. With over 30 years of local knowledge, he was both friendly and well-informed. He paid close attention to our preferences for varietals and used his connections to create a flawless day. David was extremely helpful throughout the entire day. When we learned that the wineries we wanted to visit were closed on Tuesday, he quickly arranged alternatives that suited our preferences. We had a lovely time tasting wonderful wines and meeting fantastic people. At the end of the day, we requested a stop at a market for dinner supplies, and he gladly complied. The tour guide was excellent, and the tastings were outstanding. I will certainly book with David again when we return to Sonoma.
The experience didn't justify its price. It's better to make your own reservations since the tasting fees are $40 to $50 per person. Paying $600 for transportation feels excessive. Dave is knowledgeable, but the individual locations offer the same level of interaction at a lower cost. Overall, it's too pricey for what you receive.
David is fantastic! We had an incredible experience. I arranged this tour last minute, and he diligently selected wineries for us to explore. His knowledge of the area and the wineries is impressive. David also has excellent taste in music and provides great restaurant suggestions. Additionally, you can book him for airport transport. I'm excited to return and enjoy another tour with him.
