Williamson Wines in Healdsburg — view 2
Williamson Wines is a family-owned vineyard established in the early 1990s, situated in the heart of Sonoma County’s wine country. The estate is known for its intimate approach to winemaking, blending a selection of varietals in a picturesque setting that features lush vineyards and rustic tasting rooms. Visitors can enjoy private tastings that often include gourmet food pairings, perfect for enhancing the experience of their bold reds and crisp whites. The best time to visit is during the harvest season in the fall, when the atmosphere is particularly lively, but don’t overlook the quiet beauty of the grounds in spring. The charming town of Healdsburg, with its vibrant shops and restaurants, is just a short drive away.

Two hours in the Williamson Wines tasting room — five wines paired with gourmet tapas from the in-house chef, guided by an expert host.

I unexpectedly had a wonderful food and wine pairing tasting after another event fell through. The food was delightful, and the wine was great. I even enjoyed the viognier, which I usually dislike. One of the owners was present and went around to speak with each table, which I found very nice.emilyjjohnson2017 on the Wine and food pairing at Williamson Wines in Healdsburg tour
