• A private driver will meet you inside your hotel in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, or Faridabad at your chosen pickup time and drive you to Agra via the Yamuna Expressway. • Upon reaching Agra, you will meet a local city guide and begin your day at the Taj Mahal. • The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum in Agra, commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 for the tomb of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took about 20 years to complete the complex, finishing in 1653. This site represents the peak of Mughal architecture and is famous for its detailed stonework. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its historical significance. • Close to the Taj Mahal gardens is the Red Fort of Agra, a significant 16th-century Mughal structure that is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Mughal Emperor Humayun was crowned here in 1530, and it was later renovated by Emperor Akbar, with the current structure finalised in 1573. • Following your visit to the Agra Fort, you will enjoy a buffet lunch at a five-star hotel restaurant in Agra, offering a variety of international and Indian dishes. After lunch, you will proceed to the Baby Taj. • Often referred to as the Baby Taj, Itimad-ud-Daulah is a Mughal mausoleum in Agra commissioned by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas-ud-din Beg. It is called the Baby Taj because it is viewed as a precursor to the Taj Mahal, featuring similar white marble and intricate inlay work on a smaller scale. This architectural gem is located on the banks of the Yamuna River and is known for its exquisite craftsmanship, often referred to as the "Jewel Box." • After visiting the Baby Taj, you will say goodbye to your local guide and begin the return drive to New Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, your driver will drop you off at your hotel in Delhi, Noida, or Gurugram as per your requirement.
