“Hamilton Gardens was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. This location is a true treasure, featuring stunning gardens. We also enjoyed some lovely cafes and lively nightlife venues. I highly recommend this tour for couples wanting to make lasting memories together.”— S1179NGannieb
4Full-day tour from Hamilton by coach — visit Wai-O-Tapu, Rotorua’s Redwoods, and the Blue Spring, with an added stop at Tirau's quirky landmarks.
“Dinesh was an excellent tour guide who provided detailed explanations about our destinations and what to observe at each site. I strongly recommend Enzoy Tours; they may be a relatively new company, but they are doing it well. They even dropped me back at my accommodation, eliminating the need for an Uber. 5Two hours in a small group — explore caverns and a serene boat ride through a glowworm grotto, led by an expert guide.
“I joined the tour that originated in Auckland, starting on the outskirts of Hamilton. This required arranging transportation to the pickup point and resulted in a longer wait due to potential traffic delays. The drive with Dean was pleasant, and the countryside was beautiful. The cave tour was well-organized, featuring different vehicles and attentive staff. The glow worms were impressive, and the moa bones were intriguing, with staff explaining the cave formations. However, the caves themselves were not as visually striking as others I've seen, such as those in Tasmania. I would have rated this higher if not for the misleading charges during booking. While the company running the tour was not at fault, the way TripAdvisor handled the transaction was problematic. The tour was listed at $172 NZD, but during payment, it switched to $171 in USD, leading to a total cost of $304 NZD instead. I reached out to TripAdvisor, but they said it was my responsibility to notice the currency change and did not provide a refund. I advise other travelers to be vigilant about currency changes when booking through TripAdvisor.”— trevorandpaulineg
