The tour of Peggy's Cove in Halifax was truly exceptional. Our guide and driver, Amer, clearly has a deep passion for his city and highlighted its many wonderful aspects. His extensive knowledge made the tour highly enjoyable. He ensured we experienced the main attractions and even stopped at a stunning red maple tree for photos to capture the fall colors. I can't praise Amer enough. He took us to Peggy's Cove, the lighthouse, the Citadels, and the flower garden. It was fantastic.
We contacted our driver about where to meet, which was conveniently located right outside the terminal. Zamir was fantastic, providing us with water and maintaining a spotless car. He shared a wealth of historical information about Halifax and details regarding all our stops. Having a private tour guide was the highlight of our experience, allowing us to proceed at our own pace instead of being held back by a group of twenty. We appreciated the flexibility to choose our stops, including a brief visit to a lobster wholesaler for a lobster lesson. The entire five hours were ours to enjoy, and Zamir was accommodating with the time we spent at each site. He even recommended a nearby restaurant for our drop-off, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this tour, and I want to thank Zamir for his excellent service.
