Pedro turned this tour into a wonderful experience, arriving punctually even in the rain with just the two of us. He shared local stories, adjusted our schedule when the rain prompted us to cut our visit to Peggy’s Cove short, and offered a drive around Halifax, including the Citadel, to showcase the variety of restaurants and businesses. He also told us about the renowned artist Maud Lewis as we passed her exhibit at the Halifax Art Museum. His friendliness made this a remarkable outing despite the heavy rain.
Nav, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He shared valuable local insights and led us to some hidden gems we would have missed otherwise. I absolutely recommend this for anyone looking for a Nova Scotia adventure.
This tour does not use a bus; instead, it’s conducted in a Chevy Suburban with third-row seating. If you’re not seated in the far back, comfort is likely. Our guide was quite knowledgeable, but he overlooked reminding everyone to silence their phones and refrain from taking calls during the tour. Unfortunately, a few group members lacked the courtesy for this to be unnecessary.
Pedro did an excellent job taking us to Peggys Cove and shared intriguing facts and insights throughout the journey. His performance was truly commendable.
Omar, our driver, was both knowledgeable and excellent. He took us to the Citadel, the Titanic Cemetery, and the site of the Swiss Air crash. Peggy's Cove was lovely, and he provided valuable suggestions for activities in Peggy's Cove and the Halifax area.
The journey to and from Peggy's Cove was stunning and pleasant, with four other passengers in the van. It felt secure and enjoyable. Although there was a traffic delay during pickup, they adjusted to ensure we had two hours at Peggy's Cove, and they were easily reachable by phone for any questions.
Nav was an exceptional guide, providing us with a wealth of local knowledge and history during the tour. We had plenty of time at Peggy's Cove and discovered numerous charming shops to explore. There are plenty of local treats to enjoy, so be prepared to spend! This is an unforgettable experience and a fantastic value for a remarkable day.
