This tour was fantastic, just as many other reviews have mentioned. While our cruise ship was docked in Halifax, we chose this excursion to avoid the crowd of ship tours and enjoy more personal time. The meeting spot in the parking lot right outside the cruise terminal was very convenient. We began our day in the lovely town of Lunenburg, where we had several hours to explore as we wished. Next, we visited Peggy’s Lighthouse and Peggy’s Cove, both incredibly beautiful and perfect for taking memorable photos. Although there was quite a bit of driving, it was definitely worthwhile. I would highly recommend this tour and want to thank our driver Paul for his attentiveness and great recommendations at each stop.
The tour faced multiple cancellations without adequate notice, leaving me to frequently alter my plans. While I understand there can be off-season challenges, the poor communication was quite disappointing.
