My trip to Halifax was wonderful, and visiting Peggy’s Cove was essential. The driver was polite and well-informed, sharing much of the local history. The scenery at Peggy’s Cove was stunning, and I enjoyed a tasty bowl of chowder at the restaurant/gift shop, which was ideal for a chilly, windy day. It’s definitely a must-see for anyone traveling to Halifax.
My husband, sister, and I arranged a tour but were misled by the booking agent. We confirmed our meeting point that morning, considering our party included a wheelchair user and someone with a walker. However, the See Sight Tours driver was not present; he called to say we weren't at the stated location. He insisted we walk five minutes to another spot, which was impractical for us and would actually take longer. Despite multiple calls to fix the situation, no other driver was available who could handle our needs. Our time in port was wasted since we couldn't go on the planned tour. No one took accountability for the mistake. The only solution offered was a refund, which did not compensate for how this incident ruined our day in Halifax. Additionally, hiring a driver just to take us to Peggy's Cove and back ended up costing twice as much, but it wasn't a tour experience. We are extremely disappointed and won't be using See Sight Tours in the future.
We really enjoyed the trip with Brittany, who was very friendly and provided plenty of information during our drive to Peggy’s Cove. The scenery was stunning, even though it was a chilly, windy day.
The driver was overly accommodating and a bit too familiar for my comfort. While the scenery was lovely, I was alone with the driver, and it felt like the cost was high for just two car trips, especially since no information about the sites was shared.
Rajan was our guide, and he was both friendly and well-informed. He shared a wealth of knowledge about Peggy's Cove, Halifax, and its history, as well as current challenges, making the trip enjoyable.
