The rafting experience was both enjoyable and scenic. We spotted a few bald eagles, though it was still early in the season for wildlife sightings. Noah, my raft guide, was fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. He put in a lot of effort to ensure we had a great trip, and when a bald eagle came near, he skillfully kept the raft steady so everyone could appreciate the view. I strongly recommend this team. Dylan was also great!

Our Alaska trip was greatly enhanced by this experience. The scenery was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. I initially thought I might get wet, but thankfully that wasn't a concern. We did need to exit the raft a few times to free it from the silt, but it was straightforward. The provided boots and life jackets were helpful. I recommend wearing a hat or sunglasses, applying sunscreen, and dressing in layers, as I needed to remove my sweatshirt after a while. We spotted numerous eagles and thoroughly enjoyed the entire outing. A modest lunch was served after the rafting, and the guides were both entertaining and knowledgeable, clearly passionate about their work.

We enjoyed an incredible few hours on the river with Lilly, Wiley, and Daniel, witnessing over 20 Bald Eagles. These guides are not only skilled rafters but clearly passionate about their work. Their knowledge of the birds, the environment, and the river itself was impressive. We learned a great deal and had a fantastic experience—6 stars for the guides, the river, and all the eagles we saw.

We were transported to the preserve, then taken to the edge of the Chilkat River, where we easily boarded our small raft designed for 6-8 people. Lily expertly rowed while sharing her deep affection for the area, and her excitement matched ours as we saw numerous bald eagles up close. After returning to shore, a light lunch was provided before we took the bus back to the ferry. Wylie passionately discussed the importance of ecological preservation in this beautiful location.
What an unforgettable experience that we will cherish, featuring excellent and skilled guides. We saw countless eagles throughout the trip. I would definitely love to participate in this again. My only feedback, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the meeting point was changed without notification. We were at the original location waiting, and if we hadn't taken the initiative to inquire, we might have missed the excursion entirely.
