This mount is traditionally recognized as the site where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. • The tour includes a visit to the edge of the Sea of Galilee and the Mount of Beatitudes, allowing you to envision Jesus preaching to his followers. You will visit the Beatitudes Church, which offers views over the Sea of Galilee. • In Tabgha, explore the church known for the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes, where Jesus is said to have miraculously fed thousands with five loaves and two fish. • Visit Kfar Nachum (Capernaum), previously the home of disciples Peter, Andrew, John, and James. It was here that Jesus conducted much of his ministry, performed exorcisms, and healed a Roman centurion's servant. Key Christian landmarks in Capernaum include remains of a Byzantine village, a 1st-century synagogue, and an octagonal church believed to be above Saint Peter's home. • At the southern tip of the sea, where the River Jordan exits the Kinneret, lies the baptismal site Yardenit. If time permits, there may be an opportunity for baptism, echoing Jesus's own experience.
