Three hours by coach — visit the Little Chapel, Pleinmont Point, and Guernsey Pearl with a local driver-guide.
This three-hour tour begins at Stand A in the Bus Terminus of St Peter Port, just a short walk from the tendering point. A knowledgeable driver-guide will lead you through the scenic routes of St Martins and St Andrews.
The itinerary includes a stop at the Little Chapel, noted for its charming decorations made from broken china and shells, making it one of the smallest chapels in the world. You'll also visit Pleinmont Point for sweeping views of the coastline and the historic German gun battery. The tour concludes with refreshments at the Guernsey Pearl, where you can browse beautiful local crafts.
Reviews
The tour lasted around 3.5 hours, beginning in the heart of St Peter Port on a cozy small coach. Our driver and guide, Mark, provided interesting insights about the island and the sights we saw. We made stops at the Little Chapel, some historic fortifications in the north, and enjoyed a brief lunch at the Guernsey Pearl (not included in the price) with views of Fort Grey. It was a simple and enjoyable way to explore the island and gain knowledge about it.
Ant (Anthony) served as a fantastic host and guide. The open-air vehicle provided excellent views and enhanced the connection to the surroundings. I highly recommend Tour Guernsey for anyone looking to explore the island.
This was a wonderful experience. Our driver shared a wealth of knowledge and guided us to fascinating locations, including a sighting of Guernsey cows. The Little Chapel was stunning, and Guernsey Pearl was intriguing, with ample restroom breaks. It was excellent value for the price.
Be cautious when taking a cruise to Guernsey. The yellow phone boxes mentioned in the instructions are no longer at the terminus, which caused confusion. Due to rough seas, we struggled to board the tender, resulting in a delay reaching the shore. By the time we got to the meeting spot, the bus had already left, so we missed our trip. I tried contacting the 24-hour help line, but no one answered.
Four of us had a tour booked for Guernsey, but due to incorrect information from P&O Arcadia staff, we arrived late to the mainland and missed our tour pickup. However, the tour staff in Guernsey were incredibly helpful and arranged a taxi for us to catch up, resulting in us missing only a small portion of the tour. We are very grateful for their assistance and extend our sincere thanks.
The journey began with some confusion regarding the correct coach. After checking names, the guide was uncertain, which affected a few others too. However, once that was resolved, the trip itself was excellent, featuring engaging commentary about various aspects of the island that made the day enjoyable.
