Reviews
The stunning landscapes leading to the historical city were remarkable, and the resilience of the Ecuadoreans during these challenging times was impressive. Our tour guide, Louis Gonzales, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, providing us with a truly enriching experience.
Luis served as an outstanding guide. His extensive knowledge and the wealth of information he shared throughout the trip were appreciated. He was incredibly generous and accommodating. We will certainly recommend him to our friends and family, and will seek him out for tours in the future.
This tour from Guayaquil to Cuenca is a must. Our guide Wilson was fantastic, very friendly, and professional. The journey was comfortable with a prompt pickup, and I loved the authentic visit to the cacao farm where we learned about cacao cultivation and chocolate making. The fruit and vegetable market was incredible, featuring the best fruits I've ever had. El Cajas is stunning, and the full-day hike we did the following day was exceptional. I highly recommend this tour and suggest asking for Wilson.
Driving from Guayaquil to Cuenca was more convenient and enjoyable than flying. The tour included stops at a small cocoa farm and Cajas National Park, where we visited both the Tres Cruces viewpoint and La Toreadora, which offered a hiking opportunity, along with lunch at Estancia San Juan.
CuencaBesTours and our driver Luis were fantastic. The organization and quick communication from CuencaBesTours were commendable. Luis, our guide with perfect English, took us from our hotel in Guayaquil to our hotel in Cuenca, making stops at a cacao farm, a fruit stand, a restaurant for lunch, and El Cajas National Park. He was very accommodating, adding stops for water and a scenic viewpoint upon our request. Luis possessed extensive knowledge about everything we encountered, responding to our questions with great stories and insights about Ecuador. He was incredibly patient during our hike around Lake Toreadora at El Cajas, especially when our kids needed several breaks due to the altitude. I highly recommend this tour.
The service was excellent, extremely dependable, and always on time. They provided everything we required. We've used them twice already and will definitely choose them again. I highly recommend them.
I arranged this tour for a family trip, but a family emergency arose just hours before, preventing us from going. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to contact and cancel the booking. They made the process smooth, and I felt genuinely cared for. I will certainly use their services again and recommend them to others.
We had a wonderful and safe journey from Guayaquil to Cuenca yesterday, thanks to our driver Adrian. A fun stop at a roadside mango stand for some fresh mangos was enjoyable, but the highlight was definitely visiting a small, less-traveled chocolate farm. After a tasty lunch of arepas and fresh juice with the owner, we learned how to make chocolate from cacao fruit harvested right from his trees, and the hot chocolate we prepared was delightful. Additionally, we visited Cajas Park, which was intriguing, though it is wise to bring a jacket for the cooler mountain air. Overall, this experience was fantastic value, and I highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful time on this tour. Flavio was timely, reached out to us in advance to explain the itinerary, and provided informative insights about the various attractions during the journey. If I could suggest one change, it would be to depart earlier than the 10:30 am I selected, to enjoy a better hike in Cajas National Park. Everything else was handled excellently.
I had an excellent experience with my guide, Wilson. He provided exactly what I was looking for and delivered great service throughout the tour. I highly recommend it if you're planning to visit the basin and encounter interesting sites along the journey.
