My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Wilson was exceptional, providing attentive service to his guests. He's among the most pleasant and knowledgeable guides I've encountered in my travels. I highly recommend requesting him if you choose Bucay Adventures. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you, Wilson.
This land is stunning, not just for its natural beauty but also for the friendliness of its people. The exquisite cuisine, breathtaking landscapes, and the dramatic contrasts between the coast, mountains, and Amazon make it exceptional.
This was the most challenging hike we've undertaken to see waterfalls, and it was made exceptional by our expert guide, Wilson. The waterfalls, the hike itself, the fruit tasting en route to the rainforest, and the lunch shared with two fellow Americans were all highlights. Wilson’s knowledge, patience, and assistance while navigating the large, slippery rocks were invaluable.
The cloud forest tour was incredible. Our guide, Wilson, was wonderful—friendly and very knowledgeable. The landscape was stunning, and we enjoyed tasting various banana types and fermented fruit drinks along the way. Lunch at a charming open-air cafe was delightful, with amazing food, and we even got to try some local ice cream. It was a memorable experience.
Noe is amazing. He was on time, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The cloud forest is stunning, and the waterfalls are definitely worth the trip. I highly recommend this experience!
I am extremely disappointed. After a long flight, I arrived late last night, woke up early, and ended up waiting for a tour that never happened. I called multiple times, but no one from Bucay Tour Adventure answered.
I have a passion for insects, which is why we opted for this tour to explore a rainforest in Ecuador at our own pace, without feeling rushed. Our experience was fantastic, as we got to see a lot of the city and countryside, gaining valuable insights into the local way of life en route to the cloud forest. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a beautiful hike past many stunning waterfalls, and our guide, Noe, excelled at allowing us to search for bugs while also helping us find them. It truly was a perfect day.
Noe was fantastic. He is bilingual in Spanish and English. We had a lot of fun and gained valuable insights. I highly recommend the Bucay waterfall trip for anyone seeking a bit of adventure. We visited on a weekday, so we had the place to ourselves, which was lovely. There was also efficient communication regarding our pick-up.
I didn't participate in the original trip but opted for a half-day Guayaquil city tour instead. The tour company was flexible, though communication was a bit delayed. My guide, Simon (Monoloco), was excellent. Despite it being a Monday with some attractions closed, I still gained a solid understanding of the city's main highlights. Simon showed me several viewpoints, including one we drove to and another we reached by climbing 444 steps to a lighthouse. We also explored the iguana park, the riverfront promenade, and a coffee museum. He found a delicious vegetarian restaurant to meet my dietary needs. Simon has a deep understanding of the area's history, economy, and nature. Request him; he makes you feel comfortable right away.
My friend and I, both retired, had a wonderful time on our trip. The hike was scenic and manageable. We encountered many lovely flowers and waterfalls. We felt secure with our drivers and well attended to. We ground sugar cane, enjoyed a delicious lunch, admired stunning views, took countless photos, and returned to our hotel.
