Walter was an excellent guide, providing a tour of the town that highlighted historical sites, haunted locations, and good spots to eat and relax. Unfortunately, my wife didn’t pass the safety check and decided not to participate, but the owner would not refund her ticket.
This tour provided an excellent overview of the city. Our guide, Walter, was fantastic. The Segway was simple to operate, and I would definitely recommend this experience.
If the instructor decides that you are unable to operate the Segway, the owner will not issue a refund. Their policy requires a 24-hour notice for cancellations, meaning if you book at 5 PM the day before for an 11 AM appointment, you can't get your money back, even if you're deemed unsuitable for riding. This feels like a scam, and I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. The owner’s supposed concern for safety seems insincere.
Walter, our guide, performed exceptionally well. We gained insightful knowledge about Greenville's history and good dining spots. It was evident that Walter was experienced in Segway training and ensured we felt at ease before heading out.

This tour provided a fantastic opportunity to explore downtown and the West End of Greenville, allowing us to select our preferred sights. Our guide, Walter, was very knowledgeable about the city's history and Segway safety, and he was attentive to our goals and well-being throughout. I'm keeping this information for our next visit, as we definitely plan to do this Segway tour again and will focus on the gardens next time.
Although the Segway was a bit more challenging than I anticipated, my guide Walter was really helpful and provided additional training time. When I struggled, he offered to support me by holding the handlebar. There was a mix-up with the timing, and I began at 6:30 PM, but that turned out to be fortunate since I got to see the parks brilliantly illuminated at night, which was stunning.
