This was a fantastic activity to experience in Door County. You don't need prior kayaking experience, as the guides provide easy-to-follow instructions before heading out. Paddling through the serene waters was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour.
I organized this tour for my leadership team to strengthen our relationships and give everyone a chance to rejuvenate in a tranquil setting. I ensured it was suitable for all skill levels, as not everyone is an experienced kayaker or interested in water activities. This experience was calm, enjoyable, and beginner-friendly. The peacefulness of the tour helped everyone to re-center. Our guide, Julia, an environmentalist student, was very knowledgeable about the area. I strongly recommend this tour and the company to anyone looking for either a bit of adventure or some quiet time.
The guide was kind and personable. Though the tour lasted two hours, we didn't kayak a substantial distance. There was no wildlife to observe, and the river felt more like a marsh with many lily pads. It seems this trip could be shortened to an hour since there wasn't much to see, and we spent about 30 minutes exploring on our own.
I called in the morning and was able to book an ECO Tour without any issues. Everything went smoothly, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. I'm looking forward to taking another tour with this company!
If you want to experience a scene straight out of a painting or nature documentary, this tour is a great choice. Paddling at a relaxed pace allows you to appreciate the interior landscape of Door County. It’s definitely a different atmosphere compared to the coastal areas. Anders, our guide, was friendly and supportive throughout the journey.
After our Death's Door Bluff Kayak tour was canceled due to weather, we joined a wetlands Kayak tour instead. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Our guide Will was fantastic, and we enjoyed being on the water for a couple of hours. It was a low-risk, easy experience, and we had a wonderful time.
Our guide Grace was exceptional; her enthusiasm for the region shone through right away, and we gained a lot of knowledge about the wetlands and Door County. She balanced her informative style with a relaxed atmosphere, making the trip both educational and fun. The estuary was beautiful, paddling was straightforward, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this tour.
Our journey to Mud Lake with Hunter as our guide was fantastic. He had extensive knowledge of the area, making the trip truly enjoyable. His new puppy joined us for her first kayaking adventure, and she was a hit with everyone. We had a great time and would happily do it again.
Having experienced this paddle for the second time, I decided to invite friends who were new to kayaking. It was a relaxed and enjoyable outing that showcased a unique perspective of the Door County waterways. Our guide, Jackson, was easygoing, personable, and professional, enhancing our fun. He even offered to take our picture and came to the rescue with bug spray!
Sky, our tour guide, was fantastic. She provided clear directions and shared interesting history about Door County while expertly navigating the wetlands. However, the booking process was frustrating. After reserving through Viator, I didn’t receive a confirmation email with my vouchers even a day later. When I contacted customer service late at night, they initially lacked any record of my reservation, despite having charged my credit card. After some searching, they eventually found it. The night before the tour, I got a message suggesting a switch from the wetland tour to a cave tour without a clear explanation for the change. After several texts, I was told someone would confirm in 30 minutes, but I received no further updates and had to follow up the next morning. Overall, while the tour itself was enjoyable, the booking and confirmation process needs significant improvement.
