Reviews
Cades Cove presents a unique mix of Appalachian history and stunning landscapes. Visitors can either drive or bike along an 11-mile loop, flanked by mountains, historic cabins, and wildlife. A self-guided tour lets you explore at your leisure—capturing photos of deer in fields, visiting preserved churches, or contemplating the determination of early settlers. The experience is informative and soothing, allowing a deep connection with the land at your own pace.
We really appreciate the wealth of information included in these tours. We actively seek them out whenever we travel. The offline feature is particularly useful since much of the park lacks cell service.
The tour was disappointing as we couldn't see anything after stop #5 due to a closed trail. We were unable to contact the seller about a refund because of poor signal in the mountains. By the time we reached the city, it was too late to address the issue. I would recommend choosing a different option or checking for road closures before paying for a self-guided tour.
This tour provided an excellent opportunity to learn a lot while exploring the Smoky Mountains by car. We appreciated the detailed descriptions of various hikes to explore and the sights to see along the route. I highly recommend it.
The tour offered fantastic insights, and we loved the historical aspects, especially the details about the Cherokee Indians and the park's history.
The experience was quite detailed and felt similar to that of a guided tour. I enjoyed it and appreciated being able to save it for later use.
The check-in process was excellent. The staff members were quite accommodating, and the room was tidy. It’s advisable to check the ice maker and soap dispensers when you arrive.
The experience could have been valuable, but there was a compatibility issue between my smartphone and the car, resulting in no sound during the drive. This made it essentially useless.
It started off okay, but then the audio stopped partway through, making it unusable.
The audio tours of the Smoky Mountains National Park were excellent. I strongly recommend them as they are well worth the cost.
