We had a wonderful day on this tour with just the two of us and our guide. It was definitely worth the cost. Our guide and driver was excellent, sharing insightful information about the island and allowing us to explore each location at our own pace. The tour featured the volcanic crater, the Hindu temple by the sacred lake, Chamarel waterfalls, the seven coloured earths, and the Chamarel Rum distillery with tasting. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at a fantastic restaurant. Overall, it was a memorable experience that allowed us to appreciate the beauty of Mauritius.

We had an excellent time on this tour, and our driver Richard was fantastic. He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and responded to all our questions about the island. The tour was wonderful, even with the rain, and the lunch provided was tasty.
This was my second private tour, but it fell short of expectations. The driver had trouble locating me and seemed more focused on making money than on providing a good experience. He complained about French tourists not tipping well. To avoid traffic issues, he wanted to alter the itinerary, and despite my reminders about what I had paid for, he insisted that lunch and one beach visit would be skipped. Reluctantly, I agreed to the changes and planned to discuss it with customer service afterward. The first stop, a volcanic crater, was disappointing with no good viewpoint available, leading to just 15 minutes of walking to take a picture. The visit to a large Hindu temple was interesting, surrounded by worshippers and monkeys, which he had to take me to. Next, we went to a workshop that creates wooden sailing ships; the models were impressive, but the staff applied too much pressure to buy. The National Park was lovely, starting with a platform that offered stunning views and wildlife, especially the abundant White Tailed Tropicbird. The highlight was the Seven Coloured Earth site, which featured a large viewing area for waterfalls and an impressive path around the colored earth, complete with a bee hive, tortoise sanctuary, a café, and restrooms. I really enjoyed that and had about an hour to explore. Afterward, I just wanted to return. Although I tipped the driver, I'm not sure it was justified. I eventually received a partial refund of one-third of the total cost for missing two sites and lunch that I had already paid for. Aside from the driver's attitude, the tour was quite enjoyable. I think I would prefer a group tour in the future, as I like meeting new people.
They accept your booking but then don't show up, leaving you waiting. They later cancel due to a holiday. It raises the question of why they even accept bookings in the first place.
